Mental Health Nurse – Hospital

Location: Woking (Must be living in the UK)

Position: Mental Health Nurse

Hours: Full time

12 Hour Shifts: Days or Nights or a Mixture available, Subject to availability. You can choose your shifts patterns!

Salary: up to £18 per hour / Up to £41,275 per year (based on 44-hour contract)

Contract: Permanent

A fantastic opportunity for a Senior Registered Nurse to join one of the UK’s leading providers of Mental Health care and specialist Support services to adults and younger people.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the ward manager to foster staff well-being and support staff development.
• Develop proficiency in managing a shift under the guidance of the Ward/Departmental Sister/Charge Nurse.
• Demonstrate the ability to enhance awareness and comprehension of the unique needs and diverse treatment methods for cancer patients.
• Utilize information from nursing history assessments and ongoing observations to identify individual nursing problems and needs, and strategically plan and implement care.
• Gain insight into the physiological, psycho-social, spiritual, and cultural requirements of cancer patients and their families. Foster a positive, realistic, and supportive attitude to meet their needs.
• Effectively and responsibly execute nursing care for patients in collaboration with the shift coordinator.
• Conduct initial patient assessments, document needs on care plans, and plan, deliver, and evaluate care programs from admission to discharge/transfer.
