Job description
A leading specialist in the design, build, financing, and operation of EV solar car parks is currently looking to hire a Software Engineer. The successful candidate will provide innovative software development expertise applied in the fields of Solar Generation, EV charging, and Energy Storage systems.
The Software Engineer will:
Prioritise work, deliver on time and exceed expectations.
Assist the Sales, Commercial, Development, Procurement and Construction teams.
Manage risk and uncertainty in a rapidly changing business.
Work closely with the Head of Software Development and will be comfortable with taking ownership of on-time deliverables.
The Software Engineer will have:
Degree in Engineering, Computer Science and/or similar technical disciplines.
Knowledge of programming languages including .NET, Python, m-script.
Basic skills in Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint environment.
Exposure to CAN, CANopen, MODBUS, RS422/485, DMX and other legacy communication buses.
Knowledge of CAD packages such as SolidWorks or AutoCAD and/or have used UNITY or UNREAL for visualisation and rendering.
Exposure to Agile, PRINCE2, IS0 9000 series management and business processes.
Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
