Job description

Trilogic Recruitment is representing our client a Managed Service Provider based in the East Midlands in their search for a 3rd Line Senior Technical Support Engineer / Project Manager.

This role offers exposure to a wide range of technologies across various client sites and industries. Responsibilities include providing escalation support to the 1st and 2nd line teams writing policies and procedures for customers proactively identifying and addressing issues and engaging in presales project planning and analysis. Key tasks involve managing and maintaining Microsoft Windows Server and Azure environments deploying and migrating to Microsoft 365 cloud services and working with HyperV and VMWare infrastructures.

The ideal candidate will have several years of experience in an MSP environment as a 3rd line engineer with a strong background in Azure/Microsoft 365. They should possess excellent customerfacing skills be proactive and have the ability to troubleshoot and investigate problems effectively. An MCSE/MCITP Qualification is preferred.

o Excellent knowledge of Microsoft technologies - up to Windows Server 2019, Exchange 2019, Hyper-V clustering, Windows 10/11, Office 2019 / Microsoft 365 and VMWare. o Strong and demonstrable network analytics and design skills. o Ability to troubleshoot and investigate problems without defined causes. o Demonstrable experience with firewalls, routing and VLAN technologies o Ideally, you will have MCSE / MCITP Qualification - willingness to continue self-development and education is a must.
