The role

As a Trainer - Mechanical, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. Working at HMS Sultan training military students level 3 mechanical engineering. 

Day to day, you’ll deliver training in Academic modules as directed, within trainer skills set, by the Department Training Manager 

• To be responsible for the duty of care/ progression of trainees through the delivery of training.
• To assess student course work and provide feedback on performance.
• Maintain CPD (Continuous Professional Development) recording all training evidence.
  

This role is a 6 month fixed term contract and will be based at our military site in Gosport. 

Essential experience of the Mechanical Trainer:

• Previous instructional experience 

Qualifications for the Mechanical Trainer:

• Minimum qualification at Level 6 on the national framework
• Level 3 Teaching Qualification / DCTS Defence Train The Trainer Course or equivalent (successful completion)

The successful candidate must be able to achieve BPSS security clearance for this role.
