Due to an increasing demand for care in our area we are looking for enthusiastic, kind and caring individuals to join our fantastic Evening Care Assistant team based in Weston Super Mare.

The right candidate for this role will be available from 18:00 - 21:30 on 3 to 4 weekdays AND every other weekend.

You will be employed on a 12 hour contract,  with the potential to work over this amount each week, if desired.

Due to the role being in the evening, we require the successful candidate to be a driver with their own vehicle.

You will be visiting people  in their own home  to help them with all elements of their teatime and evening routines, depending on their specific requirements, and provide meaningful companionship at the same time. This may also involve providing personal care assistance.

  qualifications

  such as NVQ diplomas and Level 2 certificates in a variety of topics PLUS fully funded City & Guilds qualification in Dementia.

Qualifications

No previous Care Assistant experience is needed, just your natural caring qualities. We will support you with full training, shadow shifts and introductions to all you new clients.

Having a full,  UK driver's licence and  your own car is essential due to some tasks that may be involved and travelling around in the dark.

We provide free ongoing learning and development opportunities such as the Care Certificate, Health and Social Care diplomas and an extensive range of distance learning courses.
