Job description
The role of Fundraising and Engagement Lead is designed to be able to respond to fundraising opportunities by deploying our team flexibly. There will be cornerstone projects but opportunity to work in other fundraising areas will arise.
We will discuss with the post holder, in view of the talents the other Fundraising and Engagement Leads bring, what would be the best portfolio mix but as an example it could look like:
• Church talks
• Church giving
However, this may develop over time as we deliver the desired step-change in our fundraising income and new opportunities open up. The role will change and develop in line with the needs of the team and the projects that need to be taken forward.
Your experience and skills will enable you to work professionally and competently with church leaders and designated officers, church members, evangelists and external consultants as well as other key stakeholders.
Salary: £33,032 per annum
Hours: 37.5 per week (full-time)
Pension: Church Army is an auto enrolment employer. If you are eligible for pension contributions, you will be enrolled into a qualifying scheme and 5% pension contributions of qualifying earnings will be made by the employer.
Contract: Full-Time, Open Ended
Occupational Requirement: This post is subject to an Occupational Requirement under the provisions made in the Equality Act 2010 that the post holder has an active faith in Jesus. The successful candidate must be in agreement with the vision and values of Church Army.
Location: Wilson Carlile Centre, Sheffield. We are currently trialing a 60/40 arrangement for staff with 60% of contracted hours over the month being done from the office and 40% from home.
Please note that we will consider remote working for the right candidate.
