The PWR team at Teaching Personnel is collaborating closely with an Alternative Provision school in Stockport, seeking a talented individual to fill the role of Teacher (Alternative Provision). This is a unique opportunity to contribute to an innovative and creative educational environment that values diversity, fosters a love for learning, and encourages students to explore beyond traditional boundaries.

Located in Stockport, this school is part of a larger trust, providing alternative education to approximately 20 pupils. The focus is on creating a nurturing and supportive environment, particularly for those who will reintegrate into mainstream settings. The school comprises a dedicated team, including the Head of School, four teachers, and four support staff. Additional support is provided by regional and national staff collaborating across the group of schools.

About you:

• For teachers: Hold, or be willing to work towards, QTS/QTLS
• For tutors: Possess a degree or equivalent and be willing to work towards a teaching qualification
• Proven track record of raising attainment, managing behavioral challenges, and demonstrating high levels of pastoral care
• Enthusiastic about alternative education methodologies
• A commitment to holistic student development
• Ready to bring fresh ideas and creativity to the classroom and beyond
• Passionate about making a positive impact on students' lives

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
