Job description
Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Inverness, is currently looking to recruit a HR Business Partner for a period of 18 months on a daily rate of £239.73 (Inside IR35). This full-time role will be a hybrid working model with one day a week required in Inverness.
Responsibilities:
- To design, support and monitor the implementation of corporate HR strategies across the organisation.
- To facilitate the development of strategic Service Workforce plans aligned to the delivery of corporate aims and objectives.
- Support Services Management Team to design and implement efficient and effective Service structures.
- To work in partnership with colleagues across the organisation to ensure coordination and delivery of strategic change in line with the corporate aims and objectives.
- Analysing and reporting HR information to support organisation effectiveness by developing and implementing HR strategies and solutions.
- Build trusted relationships with managers and leaders across the organisation.
- To work with Trade Unions to embed the agreed Engagement and Partnership Framework.
- Maintain a clear understanding and provide up to date knowledge of the legal framework within which HR operates; developing HR policies in line with current legislation and keep abreast of latest HR procedures and best practice.
- Provide expert advice and guidance on legally complex issues, representing the organisation where appropriate at Employment Tribunals.
Essential Skills:
- Extensive generalist HR knowledge.
- Experience of working in partnership with a range of stakeholders including managers, trade unions, employees and external partners.
- Experience of interpreting management information and metrics to develop long term strategies to meet business needs.
- Experience in leading projects from planning through to implementation
- Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and information to a range of audiences and stakeholders.
- Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff in formal and informal situations.
- Significant awareness of corporate issues
- Ability to work on own initiative, prioritise work to deadlines and pay attention to detail.
- MCIPD qualified or equivalent and/or experience as a Business Partner
Desirable Skills:
- Significant experience of change support and designing and implementing appropriate interventions
