Marketing Director
Woking – Hybrid
£80,000 – £95,000 plus 25% bonus and excellent benefits
We are looking to recruit a Marketing Director to be part of the Senior Leadership team for a Consumer Electronics business. The role is a key role providing brand and business leadership to the marketing and product team, wider cross functional team, external partners, and agencies to guide the marketing strategies and objectives for the integrated brand marketing plan, customer experience, product portfolio, NPD, pricing, trade promotions, cost management and brand P&L. Coaches and develops team members and serves as a role model across functions.
Duties:-
- Provide strategic leadership on the companies growth agenda in the EMEA region working in close partnership with North America leadership team
- Provide cross functional leadership to ensure all activities support the business goals effectively managing communication with internal and external partners
- Identify, develop, and lead the regional marketing team in executing full funnel marketing strategies designed to deliver against brand discovery, customer acquisition, customer retention, brand advocacy and brand equity goals
- Oversee implementation of plans across all marketing channels related to and including brand and product experience, campaign development, content, partnerships, public relations, D2C website, email marketing, paid media, social and influencer marketing, affiliate programs and retail partner channels
- Serve as thought leader on effective digital marketing approach to drive deeper consumer and customer relationships through online / instore sales
- Spearhead the regional NPD program in strategic partnership with global NPD team to ensure innovation funnel is aligned with unmet consumer and market needs. Lead local product marketing team in delivering live projects
- Create effective product launch plans that are customized to meet the unique needs of each region
- Define and manage the A&P budget as part of overall P&L management alongside key business leaders
- Support Commercial team in defining channel strategy and own delivery of agreed marketing plans
- Apply financial, consumer and customer analytics to ensure business and brand targets are achieved
- Identify agency partners, establish and harness ongoing relationships, creating clear expectations on strategies, deliverables and performance metrics
- Manage, mentor and develop the marketing team
The role will suit someone with International/EMEA Marketing experience within Consumer Goods, a creative mind set with a flair for storytelling. A proven track record of building businesses and profitably growing brands.
