Care Assistant – various contracts

From £10.90 per hour

Please note: We do not currently offer Certificates of Sponsorship

Our client is currently recruiting for Care Assistants on various contracts, Permanent or Bank (Zero hours), Full or part time, days and /or nights, 12 hours shifts worked between Monday and Sunday, alternate weekends off. The advertised wage is dependent on experience or qualification and will increase in April 2024.

Responsibilities:

• Assist clients with activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding. Encouraging independence wherever possible.
• Help clients with mobility and transfers.
• Ensuring resident safety by performing regular checks.
• Perform light housekeeping tasks
• Logging all tasks onto our electronic app Log My Care, work mobiles are provided for this purpose.

The ideal candidate:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred, but not required
• Compassionate and caring nature
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and their families
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable transportation to travel to the home
