Design and Technology Teacher / Design and Technology ECT - TLRs available!

In the heart of Westminster an 'Outstanding' Secondary School are on the hunt for a Design and Technology Teacher / Design and Technology ECT for a September 2024 start. This is a permanent, and full-time contract.

The Head Teacher is looking for an ambitious Design and Technology Teacher / Design and Technology ECT who is keen to add value to an expanding Design and Technology Department. The school is renowned for their supportive SLT, and impressive Progress 8 results across all subjects.

The school are well invested into the Education sector setting new teaching practices, as well as training their own and new staff. It's an exciting time at the school!

Experienced Design and Technology Teachers can take on a TLR such as KS3 Coordinator, Pastoral Responsibility and more. Early Career Design and Technology Teachers (ECT) will be enrolled onto the schools very own bespoke ECT induction, as well as work alongside a range of young & experienced Design and Technology Teachers.

• Working alongside a team of fantastic Design and Technology Teachers
• TLR Opportunities: KS3 Coordinator and Pastoral Responsibilities
• ECTs welcome: 1:1 Mentor, bespoke ECT induction, In & out of house training and more
• September 2024 - Full Time & Permanent
• MPS1-UPS3 - £36,745 - £56,959 + TLR (Size depending on experience)
• Located in the Borough of Westminster

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• Must have UK QTS or be in the process of gaining
• Strong academics across the board - Degree, A Levels and GCSEs
• Must be meeting the 8 Teaching Standards to a 'Good or Outstanding' level
• You must be able to work as part of a large team of Design and Technology Teachers
• Must be willing to listen to feedback
