Job description
We are recruiting for a Special School Nursing Team Administrator who shares our vision to be trusted to provide consistently outstanding care and exemplary service to our patients.
Every day, you will make a difference to the lives of children and young people, supporting the nursing and medical staff with the administrative running of their clinics and enabling children and young people to access education whilst our team ensure that their complex health needs are met.
The role involves multi-site placement as required at sites:
Lonsdale School - Stevenage, Greenside School - Stevenage,
Lakeside School - Welwyn Garden City,
Amwell View School - Stanstead Abbotts.
The candidate will hold proficient experience and skill in the use of basic computer programs and packages such as word, excel, and have good interpersonal and communication skills. They must have an understanding of the service we provide as well as demonstrate
the skills and hold the attributes required to work within the special needs environment.

To provide professional and efficient administrative support to the special school nursing teams based at Amwell View, Greenside, Lakeside and Lonsdale schools.
To maintain an excel database of all pupils.
To coordinate medical reviews as required by the clinical team.
To send clinic appointment letters to parents/carers one month before the clinic is due to take place. Telephone parents/carers one week before the clinic is due to take place.
Record the receipt of all correspondence to the clinic appointment letters.
The coordination of clinic lists into Lorenzo in a timely manner and ensure it is kept up to date with any changes.
To order pupils medical records for clinics via IFIT.
Coordinate the delivery and collection of medical records for clinics held at each school with the transport department..
Distribution of the clinic lists to all relevant parties.
Coordinate the distribution and processing of service data through patient surveys and share responses with the trust and clinical team.
