Hours: 5 hours a day Monday to Friday.  4 hours as a Teaching Assistant and 1 hour a day as a Midday supervisor

Monday to Friday – 10.30am – 3.30pm

Fixed term contract

Salary – £13151

Main duties of the job

Teaching Assistant

• To assist the SENDCo and teachers, primarily in Key Stage 2, in the provision of a stable, caring and supportive learning environment, to enable pupils to achieve their full learning potential and to facilitate their social and moral development
• To provide supervision, support and care to pupils, primarily in Key Stage 2,  with additional or special educational needs, disabilities or learning difficulties as far as the school’s insurance liability allows
• To assist the SENDCo and the teachers in the preparation and delivery of programmes of work and individual education plans

Midday Supervisor

• Working as the Lunchtime Supervisor the postholder will need to ensure the health and safety, and good conduct of children at lunchtimes, as well as supporting students during this crucial part of their school day.

Both roles require the postholder to act as a role model for all children and to provide and facilitate an inclusive, safe and creative environment.
