Accounts Manager / Client Manager - Melksham
Accountancy Practice recruitment specialists Clark Wood are working with a growing independent firm of accountants who are looking for an experienced Accounts Manager / Client Manager to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to join an established South West practice where there will be scope for further career development. The role will involve a significant portfolio of client contact and you will meet with clients in a variety of locations across the local area, supporting the Yeovil partners and the wider firm in this key role.
As an Accounts Manager / Client Portfolio Manager , your role will involve managing a diverse portfolio of clients which will include a mix of small-medium limited companies, sole traders and partnerships from a wide array of business sectors. You will act as the primary point of contact for your clients and will have responsibility for ensuring that all associated accounts and tax work for them is completed accurately and efficiently.
Aside from the client management aspect of the role, you will be responsible for managing and assisting in the development of junior staff which will include providing support to them where necessary and reviewing their work.
The ideal candidate will be AAT / ACCA / ACA Qualified (or may be Qualified by Experience) with strong and varied general practice experience. Excellent communication skills are imperative for this role as it is key that you can build and maintain a successful working relationship with multiple clients.
