We’re looking for a talented Business Development Manager to work for our client.
They want to recruit someone with demonstrable experience of sales / business development within the transport / warehousing industry.

The Role:
Reporting to the Managing Director and based in the company’s Marks Tey office, as the Business Development Manager you will be primarily responsible for generating new business within the transport & warehousing division of the business.
In the job you’ll be tasked with analysing data, identifying trends, and making data-driven decisions.

The Candidate:
The ideal candidate for this Business Development Manager role will have relevant experience of sales / business development within the transport / warehousing industry.
You’ll also need experience of generating new business and effectively manage an existing client base.
Plus, it’s vital that you’ve got experience of logistics, warehousing and supply chain.
In addition, you’ll need the following:
– Exceptional relationship building skills
– Strong negotiation skills
– A hunter mentality and tenacity
The ideal person for the role will be the following:
– Experienced working in high-pressures and targeted environments
– Able to communicate effectively within a professional working space
– Positive in your approach and proactive in your work

The Package:
Basic salary: £40,000 – £60,000 per annum
Bonus: A personal bonus is also available if you hit your targets – full details of the scheme will be revealed on application
