Job description
TSI are an established security company operating nationally within the UK. Due to the continued growth of our Fire department, we are looking for an Apprentice Engineer.

The ideal candidate will be IT literate, hold a full UK driving licence (as you will be travelling between sites), have good communication skills and be interested in developing the necessary mechanical, electrical and legislative compliance skills required for the role.

The role offers minimum wage plus overtime. Access to an employee assistance program, enhanced company sick pay (after 6 months), uniform and ongoing product training.

Fire Emergency Security Systems Technician Level 3 Apprenticeship Standard.
Functional skills in maths and English (if required).
Skills for Security will deliver the apprenticeship training in block release at their Watford Centre. You will attend centre one week every eight weeks.
You will be required to complete all training tasks allocated during your block release weeks at the training centre and gather any site evidence needed to supplement your studies.
You will be required to complete an annual assessment at the training centre and take part in any additional training courses that the company require you to complete.
The employer will mentor and coach you on the job. You will also shadow, learn and get involved in all aspects of Security alarms.
On the job training:
On successful completion of the apprenticeship, you will be offered a full-time position as a field engineer.
