Purpose of the Job:
As a Customer Service Advisor, you will be responsible for providing a first-class service to our clients, this includes managing phone calls, emails and web requests as well as maintaining databases and providing administrative assistance.
Key Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities are detailed below, however KSD Support Services Ltd may require additional responsibilities to be absorbed within reason from time to time to meet business demands.
- Delivering an excellent and consistent customer service experience via all channels, including telephone, email, web, and face to face (internal colleagues);
- Ensure that all customer contacts are handled well, giving customers the best possible experience;
- Taking ownership, problem solving and ensuring a successful resolution for each call;
- Ensure that information is accurately entered into our systems;
- Allocate work requests to our dedicated field technicians and contractors across the UK;
- Continually and proactively develop your knowledge of services;
- To carry out all reasonable tasks that may be requested from time to time by the client;
- To uphold and promote the good name of KSD Support Services Ltd at all times.
Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- Be able to receive and action telephone, email, and web requests for service in accordance with the Helpdesk procedures;
- Good interpersonal skills answering calls in a professional and personable manner;
- Must possess self-motivation, enthusiasm, a positive attitude and perform as a team player;
- Proficient in the use of IT platforms, Outlook, Word, Excel;
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience working in a customer centered service organisation;
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal;
- Excellent time management and organisational skills;
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing workloads;
- Display attention to detail and accuracy in the workplace;
- Able to work in a high volume, transaction driven environment.

Additional Information:
- Working Days/Hours: Monday to Sunday, on a shift rota, flexibility is required (shifts typically are 06:00 - 15:00, 07:00 - 16:00, 08:00 - 17:00, 09:00 - 18:00, 11:00 - 20:00) and after successful completion of probationary period we offer hybrid working on some shifts;
- Overtime available;
- The position is based in a fantastic office location and building in a Grade I listed Georgian manor house set in Stanmer Park, Brighton;
- All candidates will be required to provide valid proof of Right to Work in the UK at interview stage.
