Our team in Lutterworth currently has an opening for a Quality Manager

Purpose of Position
To effectively manage and maintain the Quality System at Lutterworth includingmonitoring product quality and customer complaint recording and resolution. Maintainingregistration with external quality bodies and ensuring these are done to thehighest quality. To provide excellent product and customer support throughtechnical knowledge and a focus on safety.

As a Quality Manager, it will be your responsibility to:

• Review, update and maintain Quality, Business manuals & product specification for Lutterworth Depot.
• Maintain and comply with the relevant standards and external bodies to meet orexceed requirements to maintain and improve current quality standards, whilstensuring that the needs of the business comply with the company policy e.g.,ISO, BPD, HACCP
• Implement improvement and corrective actions resulting from customer and supplier complaints, maintain customer and supplier complaints systems
• To prepare and assist BSI audits
• To manage and monitor the production and recording of C of As
• To develop and maintain relationships with HACCP team members and HACCP policy and procedures i.e., glass, jewellery,housekeeping and Maintain and improve BRC accreditation
• To manage laboratory and ensure compliance to site procedures and testingcriteria
• Use influence and knowledge to develop and improve working practices withindepot
• Undertake any reasonable tasks or duties assigned by the appropriate linemanagers from time to time, related to the effective and efficient performanceof the job, and providing they are within the post holders skills and ability.
• Control of quality procedures and oversight of document control
• Final sign off and oversight outsourced activity under GDP scope & APIcustomer verification and oversight of internal audits for food safety, QMS and GDP activity.
• Maintaining compliance and up to date knowledge of food safety & activesubstance GDP regulations & requirements, acting as the sites DesignatedPerson for the safe storage of API’s.
• Maintainand develop technical literature in line with short- and long-term commercialgoals
• Review test methods, procedures, and equipment calibration at the site.
