The role: Cover Supervisor
You will be expected to work within a mainstream primary school as a ECT Teacher to teach a year 5 class, must have QTS/PGCE, strong behaviour management skills, passion to help children to succeed to their full potential and at least a years experience teaching. For this ECT Teacher role you will Plan and teach well structured lessons following the school curriculum. Assess, monitor, record and report on the learning needs, progress and achievement of pupils. Adapt teaching and lessons to meet the needs of all students.
The school:
This school is based in brent with a bus stop within a 15 minute walk from the station. This school has 245 students and teachers 12 different subjects which includes English and Maths. They have a breakfast and after school club to help support parents. In June 2022 they had received a good Ofsted report which states the lessons plans of the classes are made to keep children and young people engaged during lesson times.
