You are an experienced and driven Supervisor who can support the leadership our award winning Waste Collections team in to the future. You will bring your experience of supervising within a waste collections services either within the public or private sectors to this large team of staff who give their best every day for the residents of Swindon.

You will support the oversight of a team of over 160 staff based out of the council’s depot at Waterside Park, Swindon. You will use your experience and skills to ensure that our in house waste collections service is run smoothly and efficiently with a focus on customer service, performance management and staff leadership.

You must be fluent in the English language (as a requirement of Part 7 of the Immigration Act “for the effective performance of a customer-facing role”).
