Salary: £20,000 – £25,000
The Role
- Increasing the company’s digital footprint through social media
- Working closely with the sales team to prepare targeted content
- Helping build upon the company’s reputation in the marketplace by updating the website in real time, arranging events and preparing case studies for online consumption
- Improving the company’s online presence through a ‘digital by default approach’ including providing SEO analysis, competitor mapping and interaction with customers and partners
- An essential component is communicating the company’s brand in a positive, authentic way what will attract today’s modern, hyper-connected buyers
- Ultimately, we are looking for someone who is able to make this role their own, shape the strategic marketing direction of the company and develop a marketing department over the next 1-2 years
Key Skills/Experience
- Preferably 2-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Professional Marketing qualifications are not a must but would be a nice to have.
- Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios
- Enjoys a working knowledge of the blogging ecosystem relevant to the company’s field
- Highly knowledgeable in the principles of “Search and Social”
- Able to work independently on tasks and provide expert analysis to the Board of Directors
- Will have the ability to help shape marketing direction of the business
