This is a fantastic opportunity to work as a Scientific Technical Coordinator for a leading provider of a valuable life science research products. Their focus is on advancing scientific research and innovation in various sectors including the life sciences, biotechnology, pharmaceutical and contract research organisations (CRO).
The main responsibilities of the role include:
•The primary responsibility is to actively match products as per the requirements specified by customers. This could involve procuring various types of biological products for research or other purposes.
•Facilitate the Customer Service, Sales and Logistics teams in providing the highest level of service. This may involve coordinating with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and addressing any issues or concerns raised by customers regarding their orders or specifications.
•Develop an in-depth scientific knowledge of the products technical information and proactively follow up with suppliers to answer technical, pricing and availability queries as well as providing regulatory documentation
Candidate Key Requirements
•Degree in a Life Science, Biomedical or related field
•Excellent team player with the ability to communicate clearly concisely and effectively by phone or email
•Highly self-motivated, self-directed, and attentive to detail
•Ability to problem solve and effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
•Keen for success within the scientific industry in a role away from the laboratory
To be successful, you will be degree qualified in a scientific discipline or closely related field, you will have a passion for your science; have a genuine interest in providing suitable solutions for scientists.
This role would suit an individual with good communication skills with previous experience in an office-based or customer-focused environment.
