SENCO
Camden, September 2023 Fast track to interview An Ofsted Outstanding secondary school located in Camden is seeking a SENCO to work on a full-time basis in ASAP The ideal SENCO teacher will be qualified, have a degree related to SENCO subject and be a passionate educator. The ideal SENCO teacher will be joining a strong team. The SEN department are made up of a SENCO, Deputy SENCO and 9 Teaching Assistants as well as being line managed by an Assistant Head who is a SENCo. The current SENCOs current Deputy SENCO is a strong leader, very passionate about her role at the school and would do a great handover. The Headteacher is seeking a teacher who can support and sustain effective SEN whole school teaching, evaluating the quality of teaching and standards of pupils' achievement, and setting targets for improvement. The ideal SENCO will be someone who will engage with external agencies e.g. Ed Psych, Speech and Language service, Early Help; LEA, etc. and facilitate opportunities for external agencies to work with students and staff when appropriate.
