Job description
Robert Half Talent Solutions are seeking a Permanent Part Time Management Accountant for an organisation near Pontypridd.
The Part Time Management Accountant is a varies role:
- Assistant accountant reporting into you.
- Manage the month end process - Present bridge between actual & forecast
- Manufacturing variance analysis - PPV/Material usage/Scrap
- P&L management - accruals/prepayments and GL code monitoring
- Inventory management
- Manage annual stock audit
- Monthly departmental cost reviews with Leadership team
- Assist financial controller with quarterly forecasts and annual budget, and manage the uploads into HFM
- Manage annual external audit and assist in the internal audit (CSA framework compliance)
- Fixed asset management - Capital in progress review, verification, depreciation reviews
- Intangible asset management - Capturing data for hours and spend
- Key customer analysis & bi-annual analysis by market/new products/geography
- Sales and margin reporting
- Preparing information for the monthly management review meetings
- Operational KPI analysis and monthly meetings with the production team managers
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Journal posting and month end checklist control
Salary: £35,000 basic pro rated
- Hours - circa 25 per week.
- Hybrid working: Can work from home - one day a week. Or during the school holidays can flex that to fully home based.
- 25 holidays plus BH's
- Pension employee 5% employee 4% employer
- Heathshield scheme
- Bonus scheme - site profitability - circa £300 per annum
