We have a brilliant opportunity for you to join our highly regarded Stepping Stones Day Nursery Team in Mirfield as a Deputy Nursery Manger.

What We Offer · Welcome bonus · Competitive salary and pension scheme · High quality training and development · Holiday loyalty scheme · Employee well-being programme · Discounted childcare · Team events · Service recognition awards · Staff treats · A wonderful team to work with everyday!· £250 refer a friend bonus Key Responsibilities · Supporting in the managing, leading and role modelling the team to ensure a high standard in all areas of learning & developmental care, in line with Statutory Framework (Early Years Foundation Stage) for all children in the nursery. · To work as part of a team in order to provide an enabling environment in which all individual children can access continuous provision, play, learn and develop. · To provide efficient day-to-day management of the nursery including quality improvement, marketing and administration. · To give support to other practitioners throughout the nursery as and when required. · To assist the Nursery Manager in all their day to day responsibilities as and when required to do so. · To undertake the role and responsibilities of the Nursery Manager in their absence. Qualifications and Educational Requirements Full and relevant DfE recognised childcare qualification at Level 3 or above i.e. Diploma in Nursery Nursing, NNEB or NVQ Level 3 as a minimum requirement. If you are successful with your application, you will be required to complete a DBS Enhanced Application or present a current DBS Certificate that has been registered to the DBS Subscription Update Service.Job tags
