Job Title: SEN Primary Teacher
Location: Greenwich
Salary : £140 - £240 per day
Start Date: ASAP, March 2024
Contract Type: Full Time, Temporary to Permanent

We are currently looking for devoted and inquisitive individuals to join our team as Special Education Teachers at a client secondary school located in Greenwich . This is the perfect location to establish a secure, inclusive environment where pupils with special needs can get the help they require.
About the school:
- Unique provision with a focus on a therapeutic and humanistic approach to education and childhood development.
- Aims to keep vulnerable children within an educational setting or facilitate their return from home education promptly.
- Recognizes the importance of addressing the root causes of behavioural, emotional, and social difficulties to accelerate well-being and academic achievement.
- Provides a specialized Nurture Centre to meet the unique needs of pupils with profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD).
- Tailors education pathways to accommodate various learning difficulties, including GD, SLCD, ASD, ADHD, and more, outlined in EHCPs.
Responsibilities as a SEN Primary Teacher:
- Create and present engaging lessons that engage a variety of learners.
- Produce lesson plans that are specifically tailored to the needs of your pupils.
- Encourage a courteous and attentive environment in the classroom.
- Collaborate with support personnel and other organizations to enhance the educational experience.
- Use a variety of pedagogical strategies to accommodate your students' diverse learning preferences.
- Keep an eye on your students' progress and modify your pedagogical approaches as needed.
Requirements as a SEN Primary Teacher:
- Demonstrated experience instructing students with special education needs;
- Ability to create specialized curricula and put behaviour control techniques into practice.
- Having the Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and the necessary teaching experience.
- The ability to establish a friendly and engaging learning atmosphere.
- A sincere desire and compassion to raise the standard of living for pupils.
