Tenancy Sustainability Officer
£30,731.00 per annum plus £1239 ECU payment
37 hours per week
12 month fixed term contract - maternity cover
Based from Newport Road, Cardiff CF24 1GG - Agile working, excellent work life balance
The opportunity:
Linc Cymru is offering the opportunity for a motivated and passionate individual to join our team as a Tenancy Sustainability Officer. In this role, you will provide a proactive, customer focused service to individuals and families that enables and empowers them to effectively manage their tenancies and live in the community with minimal support.
Linc is a registered social landlord operating across several local authority areas in South Wales, providing good quality social housing to local communities. Linc believes that every person has a right to enjoy life in their own way, providing they don't adversely affect the lives of those living and working around them. We work with partner agencies and empower our residents to build safer, stronger communities, making our neighbourhoods a good place to live.
What we need from you:
- Ability to build relationships and work in collaboration with our communities and partners to identify opportunities and innovative solutions for creating safe, strong, and resilient communities
- Confident in providing practical support, advice, and guidance to tenants on a wide range of issues affecting their ability to maintain a tenancy
- Supporting victims of domestic abuse by ensuring they know where to seek help and offering housing-related practical measures to assist them
- Working with individuals with different support needs, partnering with specialist support services, and assessing and achieving support goals
- The ideal candidate will have experience in social housing, partnership working, and assessing support needs. You will have a passion for empowering individuals to thrive in their communities and a commitment to creating safe and sustainable living environments.
