Job description

Assitant Manager:

To assist the Registered Home Manager to manage/co-ordinate the Home. Ensuring that a quality driven and holistic service is provided to the residents and Sisters of the Community that live on site and that they are provided with support, enabling them to live as independently and dignified a life as possible.

Typical Tasks

To assist and support the Registered Care Home Manager in all aspects of the running of the home and to deputise in their absence to ensure the needs of the residents, Sisters Community and homes are not compromised.

To assist in the co-ordination and delivery of the Staff Training Programme including the development of the care team in NVQ's in Health & Social Care and the Care Certificate, ensuring compliance and identify and ensure personal development goals are met.

To assist in the co-ordination and delivery of an extensive Activities Programme that is diverse and meets the individuals holistic and physical needs.

Provide supervision and line management to staff members of the Home in line with the Management Structure.

Performance Manage in line with policies and procedures

Promote consultative and participative work environment i.e., staff meetings

Ensure the induction of new staff is rigorous and assist in the process with familiarising them with methods procedures and values of the Charity
