Head of Third Party Risk Management & Supplier Chain Optimisation - required to oversee all risk-related aspects concerning third-party supplier relations across the business. The role necessitates a strong focus on risk mitigation, strategic planning and framework implementation & tooling. Sector: financial services/fintech.

Description

Aim - support the overall business and deliver strategic improvements to TPRM, procurement, and vendor management.

Management of suppliers and outsourcing partners, and providing expertise in both knowledge and services. Implement risk mitigation strategies and put appropriate systems and controls in place.

The ultimate responsibility is for the proper management of the supply chain optimisation, risks associated with procurement and supply chains, and supply chain governance to ensure a strong third party risk management and oversight function.

• Lead the design and implementation of third-party risk management strategies
• Ensure compliance with global regulatory requirements related to third-party risk management
• Supervise all third-party risk assessments and due diligence processes
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure the effective management of third-party risks
• Conduct regular reviews and audits of third-party risk management practices
• Ensure third-party contracts include appropriate risk mitigation clauses
• Provide regular risk management reports to senior management
• Lead and mentor a team of risk management professionals

Profile

A successful Head of Third Party Risk Management should have:

• An advanced degree in Finance, Business, Supply chain or equivalent
• Considerable experience in third-party risk management, vendor management and procurement
• Financial services industry ideally within Fintech
• Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage a team
• Strong knowledge of global regulatory requirements in third-party risk management across IT/digital biased vendors
• Excellent analytical, decision-making, and strategic planning skills
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and third parties
