Job description
We are excited to announce our exclusive partnership with an established Northampton based company, who are in search of a driven and committed Assistant Accountant to become an integral part of their cooperative finance team. This hands-on position involves managing both the purchase and sales ledgers, as well as contributing to the preparation of management accounts. It offers a fantastic opportunity for professional advancement and skill development within a vibrant and dynamic setting.
Responsibilities include:
The ideal candidate will possess at least an AAT qualification and have a proactive, hands-on approach. They should take pride in managing daily transactions within the sales and purchase ledgers and demonstrate the capability to contribute to the creation of management accounts, ready for review alongside the Financial Controller. Proficiency in Excel, particularly with VLOOKUPs and pivot tables, is crucial. Equally important is a strong sense of teamwork and a genuine eagerness to learn and enhance one’s skills in a collaborative manner, always willing to assist colleagues as needed.
