Recruitment Consultant
Location : Newcastle, UK.
Duration : Permanent, full time.
Experience required: Sales or new business experience is required for this role.
Fuel the growth of our client base by securing new business and cultivating a robust portfolio, ensuring a resilient and continuous pipeline. This role involves managing a permanent recruitment desk in the logistics/supply chain vertical, ideally within the manufacturing sector. The position adopts a hybrid pattern after completing training.
Job Responsibilities:
- Utilise sales and business development strategies to expand your desk and oversee the entire recruitment cycle.
- Acquire new business and develop a strong portfolio for a sustained pipeline.
- Foster multiple relationships within existing clients to capitalise on growth opportunities.
- Employ headhunting techniques to identify and approach passive talent already employed.
- Utilise candidate databases to match the right individuals with client vacancies.
- Manage the application process, interviews, and shortlisting of candidates.
- Qualify candidates, ensuring their suitability before presenting to clients.
- Brief candidates on job responsibilities, salary, and benefits.
- Prepare and present CVs and correspondence to clients for suitable applicants.
- Coordinate interviews, provide feedback, and negotiate salary and rates.
