Job Description for Tax Advisor based in Oxford

• Provide accurate and timely tax compliance and advice to clients, for a number of owner managed businesses and their proprietors, including the preparation of company, partnership and personal tax returns
• Lead and mentor a team of tax associates and apprentices.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on tax regulations and legislation.
• Liaise effectively with clients and manage their expectations.

Profile

A successful Tax Advisor should have:

• Professional certification (e.g. ATT, CTA, ACCA, ACA), finalist.
• IF not CTA qualified - a want to complete the qualification
• Proven work experience as in Tax or accounts and wanting to move into tax.
• Excellent knowledge of tax accounting, tax compliance eg corporate & personal Tax returns .
• Good at meeting deadlines and solving problems.
