An exciting opportunity for a dynamic person with Media experience to develop a successful and synergistic relationship with local businesses, charities and media for a Buckingham Dementia respite charity. 

What will you be doing?

In this exciting opportunity, for a trustee working with fellow trustees and reporting to the chairman, the person will be a strategic thinker and operational planner able to create and implement mutually beneficial relationship with local businesses, charities, government organisations and media channels. The post includes the following functions:

• Developing and implementing multi faceted programmes that would help achieving objectives 
• Working with team members to ensure successful strategy implementation
• Carrying out research on local business donors and networking with business leaders
• Ensure that programmes implemented are sustainable for long term success

What are we looking for?

Experience in Media and B2B relationships are important,but more critical is that the applicant needs to be hands on, with a get up and go attitude and a team player.

• They need to be self-motivated, very well organised 
• They must have a strong focus and be result orientated
• They need to  persuasive public speakers 
• They must be an excellent communicator with good presentation skills

What difference will you make?

The successful applicant will help grow and strengthen our charity, with strong relationships leading to regular sustainable support. Creating the regular stream of funds needed to allow us to expand our level of respite services, making a huge difference to the lives of family carers, who work 24/7 looking after their loved ones without any help.
