Recruit4staff are proud to be representing their client, a leading Recycling Plant Company in their search for Shift Engineer to work in their leading facility in Lemington Spa .
For the successful Shift Engineer our client is offering: I. £44,500 Per Annum
II. 7-7 4 on 4 off (2 days 2 nights)
III. Permanent Position
IV. Company pension Employer 5%, Employee 3%
V. Cycle to work scheme
The role – Shift Engineer: I. To aid in the design and implementation of a preventative maintenance program
II. To identify and rectify in a timely manner, electrical, electronic and control system faults that lead to non-production in any area of the plant.
III. The scope of responsibility for electrical systems extends to the whole plant and offices and all equipment within the boundaries of the premises.
IV. To ensure on a daily basis that the electrical systems of the plant are in a safe and robust state for production.
V. To keep records of inspections and servicing and order components and parts where appropriate.
VI. To maintain, service and clean electrical installation items within the manufacturer’s recommendations.
VII. Maintain the shells of all equipment.
VIII. Maintain records on servicing.
IX. Other related duties that the Management deem necessary, including introduction of new technology.
X. Report and document each production run and provide electricity usage analysis.
XI. To make recommendations on improvements to any system in the plant in order to improve safety and efficiency
XII. Collate data and report to the Supervisor of job progress
XIII. Out of hours completion of ad hoc permits to work for maintenance requirements
XIV. Reporting stock levels when low and/or require replenishment
XV. Undertake and complete special projects given by management
XVI. Other responsibilities as determined by management.
What our client is looking for in a Shift Engineer: I. Electrical and mechanical fault finding and repair experience
II. Hydraulics and Pneumatics Experience
III. Mechanical breakdowns
IV. Engineering NVQ L3
