Childcare Lawyer

Rate: £50-60 per hour (umbrella)

Location: East Anglia

Working: Hybrid

About the Childcare Lawyer Role:

Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a locum Childcare Lawyer to join a local authority based in East Anglia. The role will be for an initial 3 month period with a strong possibility of this being extended.

Key Responsibilities of the Childcare Lawyer role:

• To act as a legal advisor
• Advise upon and conduct proceedings relating to the care and protection of children
• To provide legal advice and support services to clients
• To carry a caseload of predominantly public childcare care proceedings
• To advocate , when necessary, at the family courts

The role will be a hybrid working arrangement whereby you will need to attend family courts in East Anglia at in person hearings on an occasional basis whilst attending team meetings at the office once every 6 weeks.
