Job description

This role is a full-time position in the NHS in a West Midlands Inpatient service; it offers highly negotiable rates for a dedicated psychiatrist. The trust is seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry to work from Monday to Friday. Your core responsibilities would be to help assess, diagnose, and oversee the mental health of patients in your care.

The postholder will be covering acute old age ward and ward with long stay patients.

Position: Consultant in Old Age Psychiatry

Hours: This position is a full-time role of 40 hours per week 

Setting: Inpatient

Location: West Midlands

Dates: From 01/04/2024 to 01/07/2024

Skills:

• Excellent verbal & written communication skills

Requirements:

• You must have a full GMC licence to practice
• Relevant previous experience working in this type of position
• Section 12 approval is essential
• Approved clinician status is desired but not essential
