Job Description
- Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy aligned with the company's vision and goals.
- Market Expansion: Identify and capitalise on growth opportunities within the HORECA & QSR channel, both locally and globally.
- Operational Excellence: Oversee all aspects of manufacturing, supply chain, and distribution to ensure efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness.
- Financial Management: Manage budgeting, financial reporting, and forecasting to achieve sustainable profitability.
- Client Relations: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and ensuring high levels of satisfaction.
- Innovation and Product Development: Drive innovation in product design, manufacturing processes, and technology to maintain a competitive edge.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the company operates in compliance with relevant industry regulations and standards.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and inspire a high-performance executive team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Brand Development: Enhance the company's brand image and market positioning through effective marketing and branding strategies.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks to protect the company's assets and reputation.
The Successful Applicant
We are looking to speak to Managing Directors who have come from a commercial background, it is important that candidates have experience in a General Management/established Managing Director role.
Additional experience includes:
- Knowledge of consumer manufacturing in a non-food consumer goods capacity; equipment, consumables, OEM etc
- We are ideally looking for candidates who have an in-depth knowledge of the HORECA & QSR channel and its unique challenges and opportunities
- International experience with a passion for driving international growth
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing a P&L, we need candidates to be experienced and comfortable driving a business unit of £100 million +
- Track record of leadership and successful market expansion through business development
- Candidates will be based out of the West Midlands distribution site with regular travel across Europe expected
