As a Senior Care Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Support: Work closely with the person in charge and their assistant to manage all aspects of the home’s operations.
• Resident Care: Ensure that the personal, emotional, spiritual, and social care requirements of residents are met, always respecting their privacy and dignity.
• Environment: Maintain the home environment, ensuring it remains clean, comfortable, and welcoming.
• Policy Adherence: Follow company policies and procedures diligently.
• Night Duty: Provide wakeful night duty cover when assigned to the night shift, monitoring junior staff performance.
• Domestic Duties: Undertake identified domestic tasks during night duty.

Requirements:

• Education: NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
• Medication Administration: Proficient in accurately administering medication and maintaining records.
• Supervision: Ability to supervise staff effectively.
• Communication: Excellent communication skills to interact with residents, families, and team members.
• Compassion: Show empathy, kindness, and patience in your interactions.
• Team Player: Committed to a team ethos, respecting the diversity of other team members.
• Able to provide 3 years of Care references
• Have 1 years of experience in a previous role
