Job description
An award winning architectural firm based in Glasgow, is currently seeking a talented and experienced technically competent Architect to join their dynamic team. The Role
- Offers excellent career progression and we are seeking an individual who is self-motivated, driven and willing to contribute to the long term success and development of the architectural team.
- Responsible for providing guidance on design and technical issues.
- Develop designs, to ensure an exemplary solution is delivered that meets quality parameters, project timelines and budgetary requirements.
- Coordinates design intent with other disciplines.
- Integrates engineering requirements, site surveys and field review information, adhering to applicable codes and jurisdictional requirements.
- Prepares design reports, drawings and models following office standards.
- Performs site visitations to determine compliance with construction documents; identifies any deviations and liaises with owner and contractor to resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Reviews project products, services, and shop drawings to ensure adherence to project documents, relevant jurisdictional codes and corporate quality controls.
Qualifications/Experience
- ARB registered Architect.
- Experience in the Health sector is key.
- Experience in designing and running your own jobs.
- A strong team player willing to participate in business growth by maximising opportunities and being willing and able to support junior members.
- Knowledge of Scottish and English Building regulations would be beneficial.
