Head of Campaigns
Salary: £41,175 - £48,634 Per Annum

The role
Our client is looking for a Head of Campaigns to bring the organisation together around a shared vision and campaign plan which aligns with their strategic objectives.
You will use your understanding of campaigning to build relationships and influence and deliver exciting integrated campaigns in order to achieve positive systemic change for children and their families across the UK.
Online interviews are likely to be scheduled for 26th/27th March.
What you'll do
- Develop effective campaign strategies to integrate campaigning messages & maximise our client’s reach, engagement and impact .
- Take part in and/or lead campaign squads to build, test & deliver priority campaigns & campaign tools that will make a lasting difference to children and their families.
- Share campaign skills & experience of using effective tactics with colleagues within the Activate Chapter.
- Develop compelling campaign messaging & oversee written materials for external audiences, including MPs and campaigners.
- Design & deliver campaign training for staff, campaigners, children and their families.
- Find innovative ways to engage supporters & bring the latest campaigning techniques and thinking into the organisation.
What you'll need
- Experience in public affairs, politics or campaigns, including the ability to design & deliver successful influencing campaigns.
- Knowledge of the latest approaches for engaging people in campaigns, effective supporter journeys and mobilising campaigners.
- Confidence with digital campaigning tools , including Engaging Networks or similar.
- Able to assimilate complex ideas and issues quickly, and to identify & develop appropriate solutions .
- Accurate creative writing skills with a proven ability to compose effective & compelling campaign messaging for online actions, emails and social media.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- A willingness to learn new skills (particularly agile working).
- A criminal record check / DBS disclosure (if offered the position).
