Registered Nurse - Rotational IPU/DSU - Up to £38,000 - Bath - Private Hospital - 37.5 hours per week Top Private Hospital are seeking dedicated and flexible Registered Nurses to join our dynamic healthcare team in a rotational role. As a Rotational Inpatient/Day Surgery/Outpatients Nurse, you will have the opportunity to work across various care settings, providing the highest standards of nursing care to their patients. This role requires adaptability, as you may be assigned to our inpatient department, day surgery, or outpatient units based on patient needs.
Registered Nurse - Rotational IPU/DSU Essentials ·Experience in a similar clinical role
·NMC professional registration
·Demonstrable record of CPD
·Knowledge of current issues in professional practice with particular relevance to the Unit
·Knowledge of standards of professional practice in the wider healthcare context
·Additional professional registration (Desirable)
·Post basic course (Desirable)
·Research and audit experience (Desirable)
·Evidence of change management (Desirable)
·Completion of all local competency packages (Desirable)
Registered Nurse - Rotational IPU/DSU Responsibilities:
·Provide exceptional nursing care in accordance with the highest standards within each of our care settings.
·Prepare clinic rooms for procedures, ensuring proper sterilization of instruments, equipment, and supplies while minimizing waste.
·Complete patient records accurately and in a timely manner.
·Serve as a mentor for students, learners, junior nurses, and Health Care Assistants, documenting their progress.
·Participate in teaching activities within your area of expertise.
·Manage your time effectively and fulfil duties delegated by the Lead Nurse or unit nursing lead.
·Maintain open and effective communication channels at all times.
·Act as a specialist/link person, utilizing the relevant training sessions in your area of expertise.
·Develop patient pathways to ensure physical and psychological preparedness for procedures.
·Provide patients with appropriate documented information regarding planned procedures.
·Obtain patient consent for specific procedures after completing necessary online packages/skills training.
·Deliver patient care in accordance with recognized standards of research and evidence-based best clinical practices.
·Lead by example, protecting the rights, dignity, and confidentiality of patients at all times.
·Undertake any other duties as reasonably required.
·Apply a holistic, patient-centred care approach, considering the specialist clinical needs of each individual.
·Work within flexible rosters designed to optimize staffing and meet patient needs.
·Provide flexible cover across unit and specialty areas as required.
