Drivers Mate
Abingdon
£12.00 per hour
Pertemps Didcot are currently looking for a Drivers Mate to work for our client based near Abingdon on a temporary to permanent basis.
Your daily duties will include:
- Delivering, installing and recovering temporary roadways using a vehicle mounted crane
- Assisting drivers with manoeuvring, acting as banksman
- Helping assist driver in liaising with the end client
To be considered for this exciting Drivers Mate role, you will need the following skills/experience:
(Essential)
- This is a very manual role with a physical nature, you will be required to do a large amount of bending, lifting and repetitive actions involving the use of heavy tools
- Must be prepared to work away from home Monday to Friday
- Full UK Driving licence is essential due to the nature of the role
- Able to adhere to stringent Health and Safety working practices
- Have a positive attitude

- Loading and unloading experience

- Due to the nature of the role, you will be required to work in all weather conditions
- Working hours 06:00 - 16:00 Monday to Friday
- Overtime paid at time and a half
