Hours – 7.30 am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday inclusive with ½ an hour unpaid lunch.
Location: Southampton
Salary – £24,700 to £32,000 dependant on experience and HGV licence
My client is a family run business which is continuing to grow. They continue to reinvest heavily while still looking to expand.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Workshop Cleaner/Yardman based in Southampton.
This position is directly accountable to the Workshop Supervisor for daily routine. Duties to be discussed at interview but would include:
Keeping workshop, yard and special tool store clean and tidy, use of industrial cleaner to deep clean workshop floor, emptying bins and removing scrap items and place in recycled areas, assisting with vehicle movements in the yard to aid productivity of the workshop technicians, cleaning courtesy vehicles, general husbandry. Show a great deal of self-motivation in the way in which duties are conducted.
Must hold and maintain a current full driving licence. HGV Class 1 Licence would be advantageous though not essential.

Other Benefits: Holiday: 20 days plus 8 statutory Bank Holiday’s (pro rata in first year). Holiday increases with time served. Nest pension scheme.
