Job description
We are building, growing, and moving forward, and we are looking for motivated Team Leaders with Domiciliary Care Experience to help us lead and guide our care teams. This role is a full-time salaried position and would require availability to be part of the rotational on-call team.
We would need you to have the following skills for this role:
- 3 years’ experience in the care Industry (Preferably Domiciliary Care)
- Working towards or having an NVQ3.
- Have strong people skills.
- Experience in Medication Management and Care Planning.
- Availability to be part of the rotational on-call team.
- To provide leadership to the care staff within Optimal Future
- To provide care in accordance with current best practices, according to policy and procedures, agreed standards, legislative requirements, and relevant regulations under the direction of the Manager
- To supervise the care services within Optimal Future in accordance with agreed standards
- To maintain skills at a current level, and undertake such training and development as may from time to time be required to maintain practices as up to date
You will be:
- Excellent in time management and reliability.
- Understanding the needs of people who require care and support at home.
- Competent in using best practices regarding providing high-quality person-centered care.
- Skilled to carry out the regulatory responsibilities of a Team leader
- Understanding of the law and regulations relating to care services.
- Able to maintain confidentiality in relation to clients, staff and the Company.
- Able to follow safeguarding procedures.
- Ability to plan, organize and prioritize yours’s and your team’s workload and effectively meet deadlines.
- Experienced in leading and managing your team through substantial growth and development.
