Learning Support Mentor - Manchester
Contract Type: Permanent
Start Date: Immediate
Salary Scale: Level 2 or Equivalent
Salary Range: £1700 - £1800 per month
If you are passionate about working with children and young people, seeking a new opportunity in a thriving school community and staff team, GSL Education is currently supporting the Headteacher in seeking several dedicated Learning Support Mentors to join their staff team as soon as possible.

Roles and responsibilities:
- Work with individual students or groups under teacher supervision, delivering therapy and educational programs, including implementing Individual Learning Plans.
- Provide specialized support and supervision to students with special educational needs, ensuring their safety and facilitating access to learning activities.
- Offer regular feedback on student progress to the class teacher and maintain accurate records of student performance.
- Attend to students' personal needs, including pastoral care, social support, health, hygiene, minor first aid, and general welfare matters.
- Build positive relationships with students and their parents, serving as a role model with a positive personal demeanour and addressing individual needs effectively.
Requirements:
- Relevant qualification or equivalent experience working with children within a similar setting.
- Previous experience working with SEN is highly advantageous.
- Enhanced DBS, Right to work in the UK, and References.
