Job description
Exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated people focused individual to join a market leader in the world of glass manufacturing in Chester.
To work in partnership with leaders, key stakeholders and HR colleagues to shape, develop and deliver HR plans and solutions in line with the needs and priorities of the business. Operating as the departmental HR expert, to advise, guide and support staff and managers by providing high level people management and development support across designated directorates.
Essential Skills
- Project Management – strong co-ordination and planning skills, Redundancy, TUPE
- Excellent people management skills, seeking to bring out the best in others
- Advanced analytical & creative problem-solving skills who is at ease working with metrics and HR data
- Mentoring and coaching skills, able to give constructive feedback to others
- Experience managing Employee Relations issues, disciplinary and grievance management
- Sound Employment Law Knowledge.
- Strategic HR and Change Management Experience
- Minimum of 5 years advisory experience within a fast-paced HR Team (Preferable )
Desirable Skills
- Experience of working in a Unionised environment
- Experience of working with SAP HR
- Experience in a Manufacturing setting
