Besides an attractive professional opportunity and a competitive compensation package, this role offers a Sign-on Bonus amounting up to £5,000 .

£2K when commence
£1K once successfully passes the 3-month mid-probation review
£2K once successfully passes the 6-month probation review

Carrier Rental Systems operates throughout the UK and across the rest of the world, providing a range of market-leading, specialist temperature control rental products to a variety of clients and industries.

As a Service Engineer, you will be the person responsible for the repair, testing, and statutory maintenance of our range of Industrial Gas Powered Boilers.

This will mainly be a depot-based role in Walsall.

Requirements

We are looking for people with good communication skills (verbal and written), self-motivated, with Commercial Gas Boiler experience, first-hand knowledge of the performance and maintenance of all products, team worker, flexible, time Management.

As a minimum you must have:

• Previous work experience in a similar role
• Holder of appropriate CSCS card (desirable)

Responsibilities

As a Service Engineer, you’ll be responsible for (but not limited to):

• Undertake high-quality repairs and maintenance work in accordance with regulations and legislation
• Undertake fault-finding and diagnostic work as required to repair and maintain hire fleet equipment
• Completion of all relevant documentation and ensure processes are completed in a timely manner
• Inspection, Servicing, and testing of Commercial Gas Boilers within the depot
• To make off-hired equipment ready for re-hire
• To work closely with the Depot Foreman and Manager to act quickly where problems arise to establish an open system of communication to ensure the consistent treatment of problems
• To adhere to all Health and Safety Procedures within the workshop environment
• To work on the repair and maintenance of all hire fleet commercial boilers
• To service, repair, and overhaul equipment and associated components both within a depot environment
• To assess off-hired hire fleet equipment and judge the level of repair needed
