Required for September 2024 , a well-qualified and enthusiastic Subject Leader of Geography. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with energy and vision to join a successful 11-18 girls’ grammar school in Reading. This position would suit an experienced subject leader or a teacher ready to take on a key departmental leadership position and looking to develop their career in a unique and high-achieving school. We are looking for someone who is inspirational, creative and forward-thinking to develop the vision for Geography, both within and beyond the classroom. Applicants need to be able to teach Geography at KS3, GCSE and A Level.
Geography is a popular subject which enjoys a high profile within the school with large numbers of students choosing to continue their studies at GCSE and A Level. We are delighted with the number of students who go on to study geography related degrees who have clearly been inspired by our teaching and the course we study.
