Senior Geotechnical Engineer

£45,000 - £55,000
My client is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Engineer, preferably holding a degree in civil engineering along with a postgraduate qualification in a geotechnical discipline as well as having chartered status with the ICE confirmed or close to attainment.
Candidate Requirements
- Strong academic background with a relevant civil engineering degree, ideally complemented by an MSc or equivalent.
- Proficiency in finite element modelling and analysis, particularly with software such as PLAXIS2D/3D.
- Familiarity with general numerical software like Geostudio, Repute, Wallap, etc.
- Chartered status or nearing attainment of Chartered status.
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast-paced engineering consultancy environment.
- Proven project management skills with an understanding of the engineering consultancy and design markets.
- Track record of successful geotechnical design projects.
- Application of CDM Regulations in design and ground investigation settings.
- Exceptional interpersonal and technical abilities with a knack for developing and leading geotechnical design teams.
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage effectively with clients.
- Successful commercial track record in negotiating and managing projects.
- Possession of a valid UK driving license.
