Are you a dedicated team player with a passion for excellence? We have an exciting opportunity for a Warehouse Operative to join our dynamic team at our Bristol location. If you have previous experience in a warehouse environment and hold a Counterbalance & Reach Truck license, we want to hear from you!
- Location: Bristol
- Hours: 09:00 -17:30 Mon-Fri
- Salary : £22,000 to £25,000
What Will You Be Doing?
- Efficient Communication: Managing the mailbox and promptly responding to enquiries
- Freight Handling: Receiving inbound freight using the GXD system & WMS and booking in and processing outbound freight using the same systems.
- Forklift Operations: Safely loading and unloading vehicles using a forklift.
- Freight Sorting: Sorting and splitting freight according to customer SOP's
- Regulatory Compliance: Adhering to all procedures set by regulatory bodies, such as CAA, ETSF, as directed.
- Warehouse Management System: Utilising handheld scanners
- Manual Handling: Frequently performing manual handling tasks.
- Health and Safety: Ensuring compliance with all health and safety and in-house procedures.
- Material Handling Equipment: Using all MHE (Material Handling Equipment) as trained.
About You
- Warehouse Experience : Previous experience working within a warehouse environment is essential.
- Forklift Truck License: Holding a Counterbalance & Reach Truck license is essential for this position.
- Computer Literacy: Proficiency in basic computer skills.
- Time Management: Excellent timekeeping and attendance are essential qualities.
